J&K Drug Crackdown में अब action और सख्त होता दिख रहा है। Indian Express की report के मुताबिक, Jammu and Kashmir administration ने alleged drug smugglers से जुड़े 116 passports cancel करने की सिफारिश की है।
यह कदम ongoing anti-drug drive और narco-terror network पर सख्ती के बीच सामने आया है। प्रशासन का दावा है कि drug network सिर्फ crime नहीं, बल्कि youth और security दोनों के लिए गंभीर खतरा बन चुका है।
मामला क्या है?
Reports के अनुसार, जिन 116 passports को cancel करने की सिफारिश की गई है, वे alleged drug smugglers से जुड़े बताए जा रहे हैं। इनमें Jammu region और Kashmir region दोनों से जुड़े नाम शामिल हैं।

Indian Express की report के मुताबिक, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha ने anti-drug campaign को district-to-district awareness drive के रूप में आगे बढ़ाया है। Shopian में padyatra के दौरान बड़ी संख्या में local residents के शामिल होने की बात भी report में कही गई है।
Narco-terror angle क्यों अहम?
J&K administration drug smuggling को केवल addiction या local crime के रूप में नहीं देख रहा। Officials के statements के मुताबिक, drug money का इस्तेमाल terror financing में होने की आशंका को लेकर agencies ज्यादा सख्त हो रही हैं। यही वजह है कि passport cancellation, property action और arrests जैसे steps चर्चा में हैं।
Rising Kashmir की report के अनुसार, पिछले 43 दिनों में anti-drug crackdown के दौरान 856 FIRs और 946 arrests की बात कही गई है। वहीं KNS Kashmir की latest report में 45 दिनों में 950 से ज्यादा arrests का दावा किया गया है। ये numbers official statements और media reports पर आधारित हैं।
Youth पर असर और public concern
Drug abuse का सबसे बड़ा असर youth पर पड़ता है। Addiction से education, employment, family life और mental health पर असर दिखता है। J&K जैसे sensitive region में यह issue public safety और social stability दोनों से जुड़ जाता है।
सरकार की anti-drug drive में enforcement के साथ rehabilitation भी जरूरी है। सिर्फ arrests से समस्या पूरी तरह खत्म नहीं होती, जब तक addicted youth को treatment, counselling और skill support न मिले।
