Census 2027 इस बार खास है, क्योंकि India पहली बार digital tools के साथ census exercise कर रहा है। इसमें mobile-based data collection और self-enumeration जैसे options शामिल हैं।
आम लोगों के लिए इसका मतलब है कि कई जगह परिवार अपने घर की जानकारी online खुद भर सकते हैं, बाद में enumerator verification के लिए आ सकता है।
मामला क्या है?
PIB के अनुसार Census 2027 India की पहली digital enumeration exercise होगी। Census India की official website पर self-enumeration portal और HLO phase से जुड़ी updates दी गई हैं।

Self-enumeration कैसे काम करेगा?
Self-enumeration में citizens official portal पर जाकर household details खुद भर सकते हैं। कई state updates के मुताबिक submission के बाद एक Self-Enumeration ID मिलती है, जिसे field visit के दौरान enumerator को बताया जा सकता है।
Vikaspedia के अनुसार यह option house-to-house data collection से पहले limited period के लिए open रहता है। Portal Hindi, English और regional languages में उपलब्ध बताया गया है।
आम लोगों के लिए क्या बदलेगा?
Digital census से data collection तेज और व्यवस्थित हो सकता है। Enumerator mobile app से details record करेगा, जिससे paper forms पर निर्भरता कम होगी और data processing में speed आ सकती है।
Citizens के लिए सबसे जरूरी बात है कि जानकारी सही दें और केवल official portal का ही इस्तेमाल करें। Fake links या unknown SMS पर भरोसा न करें।

Census 2027 का data planning, welfare schemes, housing, health और development policies के लिए अहम माना जाता है। इसलिए public participation और accurate information इस पूरी exercise की सबसे बड़ी जरूरत है।
